Kids Alive
A Christian mission founded in 1916 in China and is dedicated to meeting the spiritual, physical, educational and emotional needs of children and youth who have no other reasonable means of support. Founded on James 1:27, Kids Alive‘s mission is to reflect the love of Christ by rescuing suffering children in crisis, nurturing them with quality holistic care and introducing them to the transforming power of Jesus Christ. Our ministry accomplishes this mission through three types of programmes.

Christian Youth Outreach
Founded in 1996 and working in over 40 schools in the Braintree District, cYo's aim is to communicate the relevance of Christianity to the youth of Braintree District. cYo takes assemblies, RE Lessons, Christian Unions, sports/dance classes, mission weeks and much more, and are held in high regard throughout the area. cYo appears to be the largest schools working charity of its kind in the country, and therefore needs a lot of prayer support to keep it running smoothly.

Traidcraft
The UK's leading fair trade organisation, fighting poverty through trade. Established in 1979 as a Christian response to poverty, they combine a trading company and a development charity. Their vision is a world freed from the scandal of poverty, where trade is just, and people and communities can flourish.

The Beacon Centre
The Beacon Centre offers free, friendly, information and support to women and their partners facing unplanned pregnancies in the Braintree area. Free pregnancy testing, support & befriending, confidential counselling, post-abortion
